Having a drum teacher

This is my drum teacher- his name is Ethan, AKA Eric's half-brother-in-law.
He's recorded and toured all over the world with big name acts such as Michael Jackson, Elton John, Kiss, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Metallica, The Police, Enrique Eglesias, Genesis- to name a few.
He is THE 'go-to' in the industry for anything drum related, or rather, anything music related. If you need something, he can probably do it- drums, guitar, cello, piano, trumpet--anything.



Ethan was kind enough to give me some tips not only on drumming, but on the vast world of drum tuning. Here's a shot of him schooling me.. He has a completely different approach from anyone I've see.I learned a lot from him- I mean, he's been playing drums for forever- my mom saw him with The Beatles in the Uk when she was 9...




Other things he taught me were life lessons such as getting gigs w Elton John, stopping global warming, how to become best myspace friends with someone, and how to build your own NASA spaceshuttle out of Legos. Again, he is the guy people call to get advice on these types of things- scientists, wildlife specialists, movie producers all look to him for help.
